?[Before You Buy]: Complete the pre-measure checklist and carefully review the full instructions in the Product Description below. Then, watch the available full installation video to ensure that The Solid Mount is compatible with your fiberglass shower and wood stud locations, that you have the necessary tools, and that you are prepared for the precise installation process. Doing so can also eliminate the need for a return, saving you time.

[Compatibility}: The Solid Mount is designed for wood studs and most fiberglass showers. For contoured wall showers, install the grab bar vertically and apply extra caulking around the fiberglass and Solid Mount for a water-tight seal. It fits most grab bars (sold separately) with 2 1/2 or 3 round flanges from brands likeBasics, American Standard, Moen, and Kohler. A visible 1/4 white ring will appear with the 2 1/2 flange. Not compatible with tile, marble, drywall, or any type of metal studs.

[Design Concept]: The Solid Mount attaches to wood studs using adjustable spacers and a 5/16 x 4 (approx.) lag bolt through a 2 hole. Once installed, your grab bar (not included) is securely mounted for a water-tight fit. This system offers strong support independent of the fiberglass shower, reducing stress on the enclosure to prevent cracks and ensure safety and stability. Installation takes approximately 1 hour. Not compatible with tile, marble, drywall, or any type of metal studs.

[Durable Materials]: The Solid Mount features stainless steel A2 screws, stainless steel washers, 5/16 x 4 (approx.) zinc lag bolts, and high-density proprietary plastic for lasting safety and stability. We confidently guarantee the product’s quality and performance, with commercial lab testing supporting a 300+ lb capacity. (Not for shower chairs)
